This will be implemented through the provision of a safe, friendly, confidential and culturally appropriate quality primary health care service that recognizes community control and participation.
Statement of Intent
To work co-operatively with strategic partners and the local community to support and maintain equity and equal opportunity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in accessing culturally appropriate primary health care services. CACH aims to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to take control of their individual, family and community health needs in order to improve their health.
To promote, maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of all people in South Western Queensland through health promotion and education programs, and high quality, integrated and cost-effective health care services, which are consistent with community needs.
